EdScreening’s pioneering approach to identifying common exceptionalities, disorders and disabilities that impact learning will help close the educational gap and provide teachers and educational professionals with the essential insights they need to address the challenges faced everyday by millions of learners, reshaping their educational experiences and allowing them to achieve their true potential.

About EdScreening

We are an Australian company developing innovative, research-based technology that can be used to better support the educational outcomes, engagement and wellbeing of children throughout their learning journey, and in particular those impacted by a range of unique learning needs and challenges.

Our offices are located at UTS in Ultimo, in the heart of one of Sydney's most vibrant innovation and research hubs.

Our Approach

At EdScreening, we recognize that each individual has a unique way of learning. We understand the challenges parents and teachers face when trying to access accurate data or assessments for early identification and support, especially in regional or remote areas, and within Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and non-English speaking communities.

Our focus has been on researching and developing innovative technology that provides a more equitable approach for teachers and parents to identify and support children who may be impacted by common learning disorders, disabilities, or neurodiversities. Our aim is to create a solution that is easy to use, scalable, affordable, and accessible to all teachers, students, and families — regardless of location.

The resulting software is pioneering tool that empowers teachers in every classroom to easily identify diverse learning needs and provides tailored, expert guidance to support these students in thriving. By integrating cutting-edge technology with the latest research and expert opinion, our solution equips educators with the insights they need to better assist unique learners.

Our Research

As well as software developers, our pioneering approach to learning differences was developed and endorsed by some of Australia’s leading researchers and psycho-educational experts in the relevant areas, including experts in psychology, giftedness, twice-exceptionality, specific learning disorders, autism, ADHD, and more. Thanks to their generosity and commitment to the project and vision for a more equitable future for all learners, that a better future for all diverse learners has become a reality.

A Future of Inclusive Education

With the assistance of leading educators, psycho-educational researchers and other experts, EdScreening has developed an innovative software solution that provides an equitable and accessible education support system for all students, and the teachers who support them.

For the first time, EdScreening software makes it possible to provide universal access to the benefits of expert educational research and tailored support for all students including students in regional and remote areas, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and other traditionally educationally disadvantaged groups.

Join us in shaping a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed. With EdScreening, we're not just changing the present, we're building an inclusive and hopeful future for every learner, in Australia and beyond.

Two recent articles highlight the need (and urgency) for solutions like those offered by EdScreening with strong classroom practice strategies/support, to be made available to all students including equity groups.
